Engagement Ring
So my brother got engaged :>>
Coming from an artistic and DIY family of course the ring was going to be custom for his fiancée.
My brother, Julien, is a very talented illustrator (go check him out and commission him), he made the beautiful ring design.
I modeled it in Blender. Then we contacted a 3D printing company, 3Assi, who made it in wax and who collaborated with a local artisanal goldsmith to make the final piece. They made an instagram post about the project.
The ring is full of personal symbols to the couple, but also a symbol of family love because of the collaboration and involvement of everyone (our parents too and the ruby was from our great grand-mother), and honestly it’s a beautiful way to welcome somebody in. I’m getting teary eyed QuQ
