Tea Tale
You are the new Tea Reader of a seemingly quiet little village, but soon you understand that there is much more drama than you might think.
You get to know the villagers and their relationships by looking into their cup.
Tea Tale is a little narrative game that started as a project to keep our skills sharp while we were in between jobs.
We are a team of two, one programmer (Sofia Ländin) and one artist (me!).
I did all of the visuals.
The narrative was a team effort.
The game is still pretty much a prototype, but we see a lot of potential in it. Now it’s on pause because our availability has changed, so it will take some time to do all the changes that we would like to add.
For example expand the narrative, we already have a draft of a few stories and we would love to web them in at some point.
Actually the idea came from a very old game concept that I kept in the back of my mind for a few years and I made this character sculpt.
Obviously while we iterated our character needs changed.
But basically that’s why they’re all bunnies.
Their name is GranBun.

Team size: 2, 1 artist, 1 programmer
Timeline: 4 months
Scope: make a demo of a game concept
Game: PC/console
Engine: Unity
When Sofia and I found ourselves jobless because of the state of the industry at the time, we came together to make something that would keep our skills sharp but also challenge us to things we haven’t done before.
It was a very fun project, chill and cute.
